I have ordered a Varieteas box - when will I receive it?
We take payments for our subscriptions at the beginning of the month, and our boxes are sent out between the 22nd and 26th of the month. This is to ensure we have enough teas to fulfil all orders.
Can I purchase a single Varieteas box?
I live outside the UK - can I still order?
Yes you can! We offer worldwide shipping with Royal Mail - add your address when you order to add shipping to your country - it’s just £4 for Europe, and £5 for the rest of the world.
Can I choose what teas are in my Varieteas box?
Currently the teas we choose to include in our boxes are an eclectic mix of different teas, infusions and tisanes, and unfortunately there is no way to select what kind of teas are included in individual boxes. Naturally not everyone will like every tea that they receive, but many customers find they discover new favourite teas when trying blends they might not usually go for. We would suggest sharing the teas you do not care for with family, friends or coworkers who may enjoy them.
Do you use plastic in your packaging?
Cutting down on single-use plastic is important to us too, and we are always looking for new ways to cut down on unnecessary packaging. Many of the tea brands we work with are similarly aware of the impact that packaging has on our environment, and they use recyclable packaging wherever possible. Our boxes are recyclable and we are hoping to stop using mailer bags in the near future. I cannot say with certainty exactly how much plastic is used in the individual teabag packaging, although almost all of the brands we work with opt for eco-friendly envelopes, biodegradable tea bags with no plastic to attach the tags.
I wish to cancel my subscription - how can I do this?
You can log in and cancel your subscription in the 'my account' section of the website. You can also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can cancel for you. If you find that 30 teas is too much for you, then remember we do offer a 15 tea box at just £4.95 a month.
