Tea of the week – Jenier Tangawizi Lemon Herbal Tea

This is a wonderful herbal infusion that is packed with lemongrass, stevia leaves, ginger, lemon and apple pieces, hibiscus petals, and naturally spiced with cardamom, cinnamon and cloves.

Naturally caffeine free, this makes for a deliciously citrusy drink for any time of the day.

A finely blended tea in a silky pyramid bag, this infusion takes around 6-8 minutes to brew. Always use freshly boiled water.

All ingredients are sourced responsibly through the Ethical Tea Partnership, whose work improves tea sustainability, the lives and livelihoods of tea workers and farmers, and the environment in which tea is produced.

Tasting notes

At first you get a bold citrus flavour from the lemon, which is then given extra depth from the lemongrass and apple, further enhanced with real stevia leaves and hibiscus, shot through with a refreshing spike of ginger. This tea is naturally sweet and pleasant – no additional sweetening required unless you have an especially sweet tooth.

Good to know

Lemon and ginger are perfect for easing feelings of congestion and a sore throat if you are feeling under the weather.
